Last night I was able to observe the transit of exoplanet HAT-P-13 b. From the data obtained, we can calculate that it is a planet 1.26 times the size of Jupiter, orbiting its star with a period of just 2.9 days.
We are observing a planetary system about 700 light-years away, with a G4-type star whose mass is 1.22 times the Sun's. The system has at least two other catalogued planets.
