Another exoplanet that I was fortunate to observe last night. In this case it is an exoplanet candidate from the Kepler space mission. It is called a candidate because there are not yet enough observations to establish that it is an exoplanet, and its physical characteristics are not yet sufficiently defined.
In any case, it would be a planet noticeably larger than our Jupiter, completing an orbit in just 1.15 days, and would therefore be a hot Jupiter.
