Observation made a few days ago of exoplanet Kelt-1b. This planet is slightly larger than Jupiter, but its mass is 27 times greater. Its orbital period is just 1.21 days, and its distance from us is about 800 light-years.
The light curve shows undulations that are not easy to explain. We could determine whether these are a data problem or a real effect only if there were more simultaneous observations, which appear not to exist in this case.
